I’ve noticed Lots of women really like the Sherlock character on the modern TV series (played by Benedict Cumberbatch), who’s supposedly an INTP btw. I do find him attractive from a distance, but I know I wouldn’t wanna date a guy like Sherlock in real life. He’s brilliant, and a good human being, but he doesn’t have that soft touch–a bit of a machine. Whereas Horatio Caine is v gentle and kind at times, like when talking to children or to crime victims. Sherlock (in the miniseries) calls himself a high-functioning sociopath. :p

I think Sherlock (like Spock) is INTJ. I remember that list when I took my test. There weren’t a lot of nice, warm, fuzzy people on it. About the only woman was Ayn Rand. Which is one reason I didn’t want to take that personality test. My gay hairdresser (a dude) loves the character Sherlock. Finds him very appealing. He doesn’t do much for me, attraction-wise though. Too cold. (the show, however, is awesome)
